Coral Resilience

This project demonstrated for the first time that our persistent probiotic confers long-term thermal protection to corals in a field setting. Following a single nursery inoculation, MC10 remained associated with Acropora pruinosa corals for eight months through a natural bleaching event. Treated corals showed significantly better colour retention and photosynthetic performance compared to placebo controls, confirming that our evolution-guided probiotic platform delivers real-world resilience benefits for reef restoration.
