Aquaculture: Oysters

This project demonstrates the efficacy of our persistent probiotics for shellfish aquaculture through field trials in Hong Kong waters. Our next-generation probiotic strains delivered significant survival improvements in oysters compared to commercial probiotics. By July 2026, a 13.7-fold survival improvement over placebo was achieved, vastly outperforming conventional probiotics. These results confirm that our evolution-guided probiotics provide lasting protection and superior performance for commercial shellfish farming.
