Marine Probiotics at ReThink: Helping Corals and Shellfish Stand Up to Heat
We had a great time at Rethink, held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). At our booth, we showcased our marine probiotic technology. A major highlight of the event was our Project Director, Prof. Luo, delivering a 7-minute pitch on our marine probiotic. He introduced the problem we’re tackling, the science behind our approach, and how we see marine probiotics contributing to more resilient coral reefs and shellfish production.
As an early-stage startup, we’re focused on turning marine science into practical solutions for ocean health and aquaculture. Our marine probiotics are designed to work with the natural biology of corals and shellfish, helping them better cope with rising ocean temperatures while supporting shellfish growth and size.
A key highlight of our probiotics is that they are long-persistent - formulated to remain active over extended periods, so their benefits can last longer and require less frequent intervention.
Throughout the event, we connected with researchers, industry partners, investors, and potential customers. The response was encouraging, and we’re excited to keep the conversation going.
